About Party with a Purpose

All Hands Raised’s annual night off began in 1994 as a way to celebrate the good work happening for kids across our community, and to laugh and poke a little fun at ourselves. In 2014, we began featuring a headline comedian, and have had the pleasure of featuring Alonzo Bodden,  Ian Karmel, Hasan Minhaj, Cristela Alonzo, and Judy Gold. This year we are thrilled to be featuring Cameron Esposito!

This event is a chance to take a night off, kick up our heels, share a good laugh — and raise funds to support our shared work to improve educational outcomes for all children, youth and young adults in Multnomah County. Proceeds from Party with a Purpose provide direct operational support to All Hands Raised, enabling us to provide over $1.5 million in professional development to school community sites throughout Multnomah County.

About All Hands Raised

With an acute focus on racial equity, we bring together practitioners and leaders from education, business, government and non-profits to strengthen supports for every child in Multnomah County, from cradle to career. To do this, All Hands Raised provides the framework, coaching and tools that empower schools and organizations to improve educational outcomes for more than 220,000 children and youth, ages 0–24. We are grateful to steward this work on behalf of the community. And we are proud of our unique role in fostering collaboration across sectors to make lasting change countywide.
